听力原文:M: I heard that you have the most unusual hobby. Would you like to share? W: Well, nothing special. Collecting socks is my favorite one. M: Wow! Really? W: Collecting socks is not simply doing the collection, you know. You could even clip it to the shapes you like. Be creative! M: That sounds really cool! What do you do with those socks? W: It is really relaxing! Usually, I divide my collection into three categories. The original ones, the altered ones, and the combined ones. And you can create hundreds of craftwork from it. M: It seems like something scholarly! W: No making fun of me. I am not kidding. M: I am sorry, but don't you think it is a waste of time to do so? W: As a matter of fact, it is my cheapest and most rewarding recreation. Then what do you do in your spare time? M: Hard to say. I would really love to have a hobby, but I've got very tight schedule, and breaking it would be a great damage to my career. You know, for me, time is money. Time is life! W: Of course, time is life. But if you spend your time like that, it would really damage your life not your career. And you mean you don't have any recreations? That sounds unbelievable! M: Well, I watch TV every night, and I learned a lot from it. W: But that is not recreation. You just sit there and stare at the TV. It would even make you more bored and tired. M: You are right. But everybody has his own unique preference of recreation. And I feel quite content with mine. (20)
