Michael Jordan, an NBA superstar who dominated the sport from the mid 1980s to the late 1990s, beyond question, is a legend of the time. Michael Jordan received attention when he was playing in the school's basketball team in college. In 1984, he made his firs appearance at the Olympic Games as a member of the U.S. Olympic basketball team and won the gold at the games that year. He was then drafted by the Chicago Bulls and started to play basketball professionally in the NBA. He had an urge to win every game because of his cpmpetitive nature, and he proved himself on the court! His agility and explosive force on the court was irresistible. He broke new ground on the court again and again. Being the first player to score more than 3,000 points in a single season since Wilt Chamberlain, Jordan not only led the Bulls to six national championships, but also earned the NBA Most Valuable Player Award five times. He once said, " Some people want it to happen, some wish it to happen, others make it happe." His efforts resulted in his success, and his success inspire innumerable people in the world. In 2009, Michael Jordan was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame for his contribution to basketball. Although Michael Jordan is no longer playing on the court, he is still considered to be the best basketball player ever.
