Sharon Suarez has been looking forward to the day when she won't have to carry groceries(食品杂货)from her car to her house. That day has come. A growing number of people are shopping on the Internet. “I've never done it, but it sounds great, "Miss Suarez said. “It is so hot here in the summer. It's also really cold in the winter. I would love to stay inside and have the groceries come to me." Of course, people already buy books, do their banking, and shop for presents on the Internet. But when they need to shop for food, most still get in the car and go to the supermarket. An American visits a supermarket 2.2 times a week. Part of the problem is that many shoppers want to see the food they buy. While they might buy a CD or a book without seeing it, most people don't want to buy food the same way. They worry about bad food and late deliveries(送贷).But all this is slowly changing. People are beginning to find that it takes less time to buy food over the Internet. And, they are finding that delivery is fast, cheap, and the food is good.
