M: What are you doing here? Don't tell me you're sick. W: Oh, no. I'm just here picking up a prescription for my roommate. He's caught a cold this past week. M: Oh, that's too bad. I hope he feels better soon. I've been meaning to get a hold of you for some time now. My sister just returned from a three-week trip to Africa and she took lots of pictures. It's' so beautiful there, you must see the photos. How about coming over for dinner this weekend and taking a look? I'm sure she would be delighted to see you, too. W: Oh, I'm terribly sorry. It's my parents' fiftieth anniversary this Saturday, so I'm going home for a big celebration. All my relatives are coming from all over the country for this event. I'm also excited about seeing my family again. I'll have to leave straight from work on Friday night because it takes about six hours to get to Sacramento from here. M: Sacramento? I thought you were from San Diego. W: No. Lots of people make that mistake, too. I just studied at the university there. M: Well, please say congratulations to your parents for me.
