When I was in college, I decided to start a nonprofit organization to help people in need in my neighborhood. There were many people in need in the area where my college was located, and I had gotten to know a few of them, so my ( ) was to use my background in economics to help them. With the money I loaned her, she was able to purchase a sewing machine and ( ) her business. Soon she was selling her hand-made clothes on the Internet.
