As you probably know, we'll be cleaning up the trails of this mountain today. Let's begin by dividing the group. There are thirty of us, so we'll divide up into two fifteen-person teams. I want one team to take the east side of the mountain and pick up litter along the trails, paying special attention to the picnic areas. And the other will take the west side and pick up the litter, paying special attention to the rivers and streams. I'm passing around plastic trash bags for you to place the litter in. Please take at least two bags, as there is a lot of trash. When you've filled the bags, bring them back to this area and we'll dump them altogether into that huge trash bag. If you find any aluminium cans, toss them into the many boxes we have already placed along the trail. Later, we will pick up the boxes and take the cans to the recycling center. How will the club members work to clean up the area?
