【历史--中外历史人物评说】 材料 是南朝齐、杰出的无神论者和唯物主义思想家、文学家。出身寒微,幼年即刻苦好学,18岁便博通经传,名闻当世。曾与、沈约同为竟陵子良门下。子良信佛,而独不信鬼神,更反对佛教。一场信仰佛教与反对佛教的论战就此展开。天监六年(507年)他发表了著名的《神灭论》,以无神论否定其他迷信说教。纠集、琛等攻击他,他毫不畏惧,据理力争,终不屈服于权贵。是两汉魏晋以来神灭思想的继承者和发展者,是充之后又一位杰出的唯物主义思想家。《神灭论》是他思想观点的代表作。该书将批判矛头直接指向佛教唯心主义的“神不灭论”。他指出:“形即神也,神即形也。是以形存则神存,形灭。” 摘编自《中华文明实录》 (1)根据材料并结合所学知识,概述无神论思想产生的背景。(9分) (2)根据材料并结合所学知识,说明在中国古代思想的地位。(6分)
