Stella So what was your weekend like? Anna I ( 1 ) most of Saturday afternoon at the swimming pool with my son. He has just learned to swim and he really enjoys swimming. Stella Was your husband there, too? Anna No, he has started to play tennis. He doesn’t enjoy swimming any more. Stella I thought he was a school champion when he was ( 2 ). Anna He was, and then his swimming trainer entered him into the competitions, which meant that he had to train ( 3 ) three times a week. Stella That’s a lot of training. Anna Yes, and he hated it. Since then he doesn’t swim any more. Stella But tell me, isn’t tennis an expensive sport? Anna It’s certainly not as expensive as skydiving or bungee jumping. Even golf is more expensive than tennis. Stella And what about you? Have you decided to ( 4 ) tennis? Anna Well, I thought about it. But I really don’t like doing sports. How about you? Stella Well when I was in college, I played volleyball on the college volleyball team. I enjoyed playing in a team. Anna I suppose it doesn’t matter what you do ( 5 ) you enjoy it and of course that it isn’t too expensive.
