My beloved parents, My first sight of the college campus made it sufficiently clear 1 I have stepped in the new 2 of my journey through life. The campus, built on a tableland and covered with diverse flowers and plants, is full of academic and romantic appeal. The teaching complex, unique and modern in style, is the source of our knowledge as it will open the door to the ocean of learning, from which I will reap more capacity and wisdom. 3 , I find everything around me fresh and fascinating. 4 your wishes in mind, however, I can’t wait to fit in with the new environment. Today, I stole a glance through my required and elective courses. Most of them are foreign to me, but as you wished, I’m ready to embrace them with passion. In studies, as my past has turned out, it is more rewarding that I win a prepared battle than that I win an unprepared one. To be strong in body and sound in mind, I’m also ready to engage 5 extracurricular activities, such as body-building, model-making, and art appreciation training. And above 6 , I’m ready to take great pleasure in making friends with like-minded students. Deep down, I know I will run into many more challenges on campus as a good test for my character. Among other things, I have to learn how to get 7 on my own every day, ranging from drinking and living to wearing and washing. Be assured that I will make the 8 of whatever I’m born 9 do to cope with them well. I always keep your advice in mind that the process of learning how to live 10 my own is the time when I sample both hardship and greatness of parenting, take details of life seriously, and realize the formation of good character.
